Faculty Grants Office

The Faculty Grants Office administers Graduate School internal faculty research grant programs, including Grant-in-Aid of Research, Artistry, and Scholarship Program (GIA), and Distinguished Women’s Scholar Award.  Additionally, Faculty Grants Office coordinates the internal selection of faculty pre-proposals for submission to a number of private foundation and federal agency competitive programs for which the number of nominations submitted by the University of Minnesota are restricted.  Program announcements, application forms and exemplary proposals from previous years are available on our web site.
